Siddhi Purusha Sri Vishvaradhya

Sri Vishwaradhya Sidda Samsthana Matha Abbetumkur is near Yadgir district in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is located about 10 Kilometers from Yadgir. His holiness Shri Vishwaradhya was a godly person, achiveved the eight primary siddhis(Astama Siddhi) Anima, Mahima,Garima,Laghima,Prapti,Prakamya,Istva,Vastva, so he called Siddi Purusha, who tried to bring happiness & humanity in the lives of people. Sri Vishwaradhya temple is situated at Abbetumkur & this village is well known for the temple it has also the temple of sharana Sakreappa Gowda. It is the unique temple where sharana Shakrappa Gowda’s body has been rested in the ground floor of the temple & Sri Vishwaradha has been on top of Sri Sakreappa Gouda. At the top of Sri Vishwaradhaya a white marble statue of lord Vishwaradhya has been installed. Devotees from across Karnataka,Maharastra,Andrapradesh, Tamilnadu & various parts of northern india here and follow shri Vishwaradhaya and his ethics. Sri Vishwaradhya Sidda Samsthana Matha is headed by present Peethadipathi Poojya Shri Shatasthala Brahmi Acharya Ratna Sri Dr. Gangadhara Shivacharya Mahaswamiji.

His holiness Poojya Shri Shatasthala Brahmi Acharya Ratna Sri Dr. Gangadhara Shivacharya Mahaswamiji is born in Ganwar which belonged to Jewargi taluka Gulbarga District and he belogns to the family of Shri Vishvaradhya. He is founder of the Shri Vishwaradhya Sidda Samsthana Matha and education Samsthe. He is widely respected for his philanthropic work by all communities. In recognition of his humanitarian work, Sri Swamiji was conferred with an honorary degree of Doctor by University of Gulbarga for his educational reforms.

A peep in retrospection will reveal the zeal and the catalyst which worked in the path of progress and growth of Sri Vishwaradhya Vidya Vardhaka Samsthe. Today we are educating over 2000 Students. The appreciation, laurels and compliments showered on us give us a feel of movement after the thunder shower. It is the family feeling and belonging of the staff that has brought this unique achievement. Adequate funds were made available for recycling. Due to the fact there were NO financial leakages.

For the past 18 year we are in the field of college education, which denotes the qualitative input of man-hours as a criterion. Our dedicated service to the mankind, the love and affection to the cause of education has brought up to this platform. A large number of student community are availing the benefit of our skill and excellent infrastructure provided by us. We request the co-operation of public and in particular the student community to make this institution more beneficial to the mankind.

The skill knowledge and perfection attained by providing guidance and growth by over 50 college staff, is an indication of the efficiency and potentiality of the teaching fraternity. The student strength of over 2000 and the acknowledgement and recognition by the parents and students as the Best Educational Institution in Yadgir.

Father of our nation, Mahatma Gandhi has beautifully observed the meaning of Education as ‘ the all-round drawing out of the best in child and man, in body, mind and spirit’. Here in this College, we are in that effort to bring out the best in our student-teachers, in all aspects, so that they are equipped to do the same when they become the real teachers later. All the activities are organized here as a team work by the faculty to achieve this common goal.
